This belt and plate set is one of the nicest that I have ever seen. The plate is made of cast brass and has an integral eagle motif and tongue. The Nickel-silver wreath is made and applied in three pieces. The belt is a pre-war pattern, hand made, and extensively sewn, with a three letter monogram stitched into the back. It is still in great shape with about 95% of the finish still there. The belt with its monogram should be, but has not been, researched. The belt and plate are both important because of their condition and the monogram. Due to the fine workmanship exhibited, this belt must have belonged to a fairly high ranking officer.
